Former Fulfillment Partner Continues Unauthorized Use of Tibetan Pharmacy’s Intellectual Property, Product Line, Brand Identity, and Proprietary Formulation Systems

This public notice is issued to protect consumers, practitioners, distributors, and the integrity of authentic Tibetan medicine.
The preservation of authentic Tibetan medicine extends beyond the protection of intellectual property. It is a responsibility to safeguard a living medical tradition, preserve the integrity of traditional botanical formulations, and ensure that consumers are not misled regarding the origin, authenticity, and preparation of products represented as Tibetan medicine. Authenticity, transparency, and consumer trust are fundamental to the responsible practice and preservation of this traditional system of medicine.
For these reasons, Tibetan Pharmacy LLC is issuing this Official Public Notice and Consumer Advisory concerning the continued unauthorized use of its intellectual property, proprietary product line, formulation systems, product names, branding, and Tibetan medical representations by Jampha.com.
Jampha.com was originally engaged solely as a fulfillment and distribution company for products developed by Tibetan Pharmacy LLC. Its role was to package, fulfill, and distribute Tibetan Pharmacy products. Jampha.com was never authorized to claim ownership of Tibetan Pharmacy’s intellectual property, represent Tibetan Pharmacy formulations as its own, manufacture independent versions of those formulations, or represent Tibetan Pharmacy’s formulation authority or educational work.
During that business relationship, Tibetan Pharmacy LLC introduced its proprietary botanical tincture collection, product naming architecture, educational materials, and Tibetan pill medicine collection for distribution purposes only. Tibetan Pharmacy LLC states that the complete formulation specifications, manufacturing methodology, preparation techniques, and formulation architecture remained confidential and were never disclosed in full.
Following the termination of that business relationship, Tibetan Pharmacy LLC states that Jampha.com continued using Tibetan Pharmacy’s product names, product descriptions, branding concepts, formulation systems, and Tibetan medical representations without authorization.
Tibetan Pharmacy LLC further states that products currently marketed by Jampha.com under names and concepts originating with Tibetan Pharmacy were developed without access to the complete proprietary formulation specifications. According to Tibetan Pharmacy LLC, these products are unauthorized approximations derived from partial information and therefore do not represent the complete composition, preparation methods, or formulation integrity of authentic Tibetan Pharmacy medicines.
Tibetan Pharmacy LLC believes these activities create a substantial risk of consumer confusion by conveying the impression that such products originate from, are affiliated with, or are authorized by Tibetan Pharmacy LLC when they are not.
In addition, Tibetan Pharmacy LLC states that Jampha.com continues marketing products represented as Tibetan tinctures and Tibetan pill medicines. Tibetan Pharmacy LLC states that these products are not produced, verified, endorsed, or authorized by Tibetan Pharmacy LLC and may mislead consumers regarding their authenticity and relationship to Tibetan Pharmacy.
Tibetan Pharmacy LLC further states that:
- Jampha.com has no authorization to manufacture, reproduce, distribute, or market Tibetan Pharmacy formulations.
- Jampha.com has no authorization to represent Tibetan Pharmacy’s formulation authority, educational materials, or proprietary product systems.
- The Tibetan pill medicine collection marketed through Jampha.com originated during a limited fulfillment and distribution relationship that has long since ended.
- Any continued use of Tibetan Pharmacy product names, formulation systems, educational materials, branding, or proprietary product architecture is unauthorized.
- Products marketed by Jampha.com should not be represented as authentic Tibetan Pharmacy formulations.
Tibetan Pharmacy LLC states that it has made repeated efforts over an extended period to resolve these matters privately. Those efforts have included multiple cease-and-desist notices, legal proceedings that resulted in a judgment in favor of Tibetan Pharmacy LLC, and documented submissions to third-party service providers concerning the alleged unauthorized use of Tibetan Pharmacy’s intellectual property. Tibetan Pharmacy LLC states that, despite these efforts, the conduct described above has continued.
Accordingly, Tibetan Pharmacy LLC is pursuing all available legal remedies, including claims relating to intellectual property, false designation of origin, unfair competition, and misrepresentation. Regulatory authorities and relevant agencies are also being notified.
Consumer Advisory
Consumers, healthcare practitioners, distributors, retailers, and members of the public are advised that products marketed by Jampha.com are not authorized, verified, or endorsed by Tibetan Pharmacy LLC.
